The Town of Granby maintains four cemeteries. The Lewis Corner's Cemetery (North Granby Cemetery) is located on County Rte 85 and was started in 1807. The Granby Center Cemetery is on a hill across from the Granby Center Fire Department on County Rte 8. Merritt Cemetery (Granby Rural Cemetery) is located on Merritt Road near the old hamlet, Brook. A small cemetery located near the Minetto Town line off from State Route 48 is the Hickory Grove Cemetery (Veeder Cemetery).  There are no plots for sale in any of these cemeteries.

For information, please contact the Town Clerk.

Cemetery records have been lost or destroyed by fire. Some information on burials may be on file with the Town Clerk.

There are some historic cemeteries that are on private land.  These include: West Granby Cemetery, Grant/Jodway Cemetery, Sheldon Family Plot, Lee Family Plot, and the Paine Family Plot.  The Town Historian has some information on burials in private cemeteries.
