Responsibilities

The Town Historian organizes and maintains town records following guidelines established by the NYS Education Department. The historian also collects and preserves data and artifacts that reflect the long history of the town and its settlers. Requests for birth, marriage, and death records from 1880-current may be directed to the Town Clerk.
